Morning, fam! Yr pal al here, breaking the bad news that we don’t have an episode today. Daniel’s family was in the throes of the plague so we weren’t able to record. Tis the season!
Read to the end for a large escape artist.
It would rule if you’d forward this along to anyone who might dig our podcast. New episodes are out every Monday, plus Untethered minisodes on (most) Wednesdays, and we’re on all the podcast platforms like Apple Podcasts + Spotify + Castbox + Google Podcasts.
If you have any feedback or ideas you want to hear us cover, or if you just want to say hi, you can reply to this email and it’ll come straight to us. We’re also on:
email + tiktok + youtube + twitter + instagram + facebook group + read with tether facebook group — our next book is Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister. I read it a couple years ago and it’s an all-time fav of mine. I’m excited to read it again and talk about it. It’s a time loop sort of sci-fi, but very realistic and doesn’t get into the physics of the time loop or anything like that. Really interesting thriller. Hope you join us! We’re aiming to discuss it around the end of February in a video chat.
{The combination of this smile and the caption are killing me.}
Various Things from This Week:
This new shirt from Last Podcast on the Left is so good.
If you’re someone who does their nails, I can’t praise Olive & June’s press-on nails enough. I have some on that have been on for 9 days so far and they look like I got them done at a salon.
Not pretty, but simple and tasty-looking dinner recipe on my to-do list: Poor Man’s Casserole.
New easy decluttering method to try that sounds like a good idea.
Have I shared this game before? It’s called Filler. I love playing it while I’m listening to anything.
Here’s a 127-pound Kune Kune pig who was roaming around in Oregon and is now living as a pet on a farm. Doesn’t he look happy?
Thanks for reading & listening! Love u mean it!
